There were 12,271 people in Utah enrolled in substance use treatment in a single-day count, which was a slight —a decrease from 12,792 people a few years earlier. Overall the range has remained fairly steady.
Among the people in Utah who were enrolled in substance use treatment, 36.2% were in treatment for a drug problem only, 14.8% were in treatment for an alcohol problem only, and 49.0% were in treatment for problems with both drugs and alcohol.
